Foodtrips at Tramway Tea House Buffet

Tramway Tea House

There are different branches of Tramway buffet where you can enjoy their Filipino, Japanese and Chinese cuisine at a very affordable price  without compromising the taste and the quality of the food. Currently, there are four different branches of  Tramway which is in Tramway Tea house Banawe QC, Tramway Garden Buffet Timog QC, Tramway Buffet Plaza Shaw Boulevard and Tramway Bayview Buffet Roxas Boulevard. Each Tramway branches have  different buffet price per head. You may also check their website at http://www.tramwaybuffet.com  for the information about the price for each branches.

Jhoe and I went to Tramway Tea house in Banawe Quezon City which is located in 76 Scout Alcaraz Street, corner Banawe, Brgy. Saint Peter, Quezon City. Their store hours for lunch time is from 11:30AM to 3:00PM and their Dinner store hours is from 6:00PM to 10:00PM.  nabasa lang namin na meron din palang 1st batch and 2nd batch ang dinner nila. 1st batch is from 6:00PM to 8:00PM then the 2nd batch will be 8pm to 10PM.

Tramway Tea House buffet price per head is P228 Pesos only. If you  have kids below 4ft the fee is only P153 Pesos. Iba pa ang bayad sa drinks. Meron silang mga available na softdrinks in can which is P40 pesos yata ang isa at P140 pesos naman ang isang 1.5 liters na Softdrinks. They also have Iced Tea and Juices.

Pagkadating pa lang namin ay bumati na agad ang isang staff and nagtanong kung ilan kami and then we are guided to our table na.

Syempre Selfie muna kami before kumain at Tramway Tea House Banawe

Buffet rules at Tramway Tea House

According to their buffet rules, it should be NO LEFT OVERS, NO WRAP OUTS and NO SHARING. Following this simple rules will prevent you for paying P6 pesos per 10 grams for leftover rate.

They have tossed lettuce, carrots, singkamas(turnip), tomatoes, cucumber and eggs. Best of all, meron silang prawn chips na parang chicharap ng chowking.

Vegetable Salad with Thousand Island dressing

The steamed siomai of Tramway Tea House is also very good. Pork Siomai is actually a traditional Chinese dumpling but it is one of the favorite food of Pinoys these days. Ang daming stalls na nagtitinda ng siomai mapa Malls man or kahit sa labas. Favorite namin ng anak ko yang siomai. Sayang wala silang chili sauce katulad ng sa Master siomai 🙂 They have soy sauce and calamansi for the dipping sauce. If you dont feel eating the steamed somai they also have Fried Wanton.

Their Vegetable dish for the day and Potato Balls

For Desserts, they offer seasonal fruits like Papaya, Watermelon or Papaya. They also have butchi, ginataang halo-halo, macaroni salad and Buko Pandan.

So here’s the Fun Part, Kainan na! For my Round 1 plate, here’s the photo of my Food Choices. I’ve tried a little bit of everything para alam ko na kung anong babalikan ko sa second round haha.

Thumbs up for me halos lahat ng dish! Naenjoy ko yung Yang Chow Fried rice nila, perfect for the main dishes that they have. Masarap yung Fried Chicken ng Tramway Buffet because it is juicy and not dry kaya kahit nga di mo na lagyan ng gravy for the sauce kasi malasa naman siya. The Sweet and sour Pork is also a wonderful dish with Pineapples and bell peppers na panalo sa lasa. Balance lang ang pagka sweetness versus the sour and tangy taste of ketchup on the sauce. Para akong nag Chowking Lauriat pero ang difference is for the price of P228 pesos, naka eat all you can ka na. Very Sulit for us!

Medyo matabang lang for me.

My Plate for the First round .

Jhoe’s Plate for Round One 🙂

Here is the Photo of our second plate. Aside from the salad, I also tried their California Maki.

My second plate- California Maki, Vegetable Sald with Thousand Island Dressing, Prawn Chips(like chicharap ng Chowking)

Not bad pero nothing special.

Jhoe liked the Ginataang Halo-Halo. Masarap daw medyo creamy. The Gelatin is okay and the Buko Pandan is medyo matabang. Oh and they also have lumpiang sariwa. I was so excited to taste it kahit super busog na ko. Self Service ang paglalagay ng lumpiang sariwa. If you prefer na lumpiang hubad style mo sya kainin meaning wala siyang lumpia wrapper at puro mga veggies lang sya and sauce. Usually kasi the peanut sauce is manamis namis na or timplado na. But yung sauce nila is not matamis. What they did is yung peanut na pang garnish dun sa lumpiang sariwa, yun yung may sugar. Parang di lang sya okay for me.

Naubos namin yung mga kinuha namin and we definitely want to come back for more. Hindi nakakahinayang kumain sa Tramway because you get your money’s worth. Super Sulit.

Super busog na kami so nagpahinga lang kami ng konti before calling it a night. Mga quarter to eight yata kami umuwi. Selfie muna sa Tramway before going home.
